Faithful Citizen Insert

This week's Bulletin will include an insert summarizing Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship,  a teaching document issued by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops last November.

The document lays out the Church's commitment to responsible participation in the political process and  provides a thoughtful framework for choosing leaders and making decisions that impact the common good.

Please take it home for further study and prayerful consideration. The full document can be checked out of the Theological Education Resource Center at the Catholic Center or can be read online at www.faithfulcitizenship.org.

Help the kids of Vickery Meadow!

If you are seeking a way to volunteer, do service, or just spend time with some great kids, come tutor in Vickery Meadow this Wednesday. Most of the kids are refugees from Africa and the Middle East and need a lot of help with their schoolwork. They also just love meeting new people! Meet at the Catholic Center at 3:45 on Wednesday. Contact Laura Arellano-Weddleton for more information.
